My daughter Michelle graduated in March from Inflight Training for Virgin America. She comes from an airline background (I retired from Southwest Airlines after 26 years, my husband worked for Eastern Airlines and Continental Airlines and her uncle Terry is an American Airlines pilot) and we are so proud to see her following in our footsteps. I had to make some airplane cookies for her class graduation in San Francisco and continue to make them for her crew members when I can. She loves to bring homemade goodies to her fellow crew members when she flies.
Note the difference in writing, cookie on left with Wilton tip #2 and cookie on right with PME tip #1.5 I love my PME tips
I love to make baby themed cookies. Whats not to love about a new baby coming into the world? And what better way to celebrate than with cute cookies at a baby shower! Here are some that I have made:
Here is my collection of Christmas cookies from 2011. My favorite was the elf shoe. I found that cutter on a shopping trip to IKEA. It was in a cute set and a great find. I also really liked the pastel colors for Christmas. I am not a fan of dark icing, it stains your teeth and can bleed into light colors.
