Winnie the Pooh shower for Baby Hunter

I had the opportunity to make these cookies for a longtime family friend. Brittney went to school, cheer, and gymnastics with my daughter while they were growing up. I can’t believe she is having a baby of her own now. I know the whole family is so excited for Hunter Mason to arrive in January.

I used a cauldron cutter to make the head for Winnie and another cauldron cutter for the honey pot by cutting the feet off. Last week I attended Cookie Con, a conference for cookie decorators and Callye (www.sweetsugarbelle.com) had given a presentation on looking at cookie cutters differently to make a shape that you need and don’t have. I was thinking I would need to hand cut the shapes and the cauldron shape worked perfect!

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Adorable, I can’t decide which is my favorite. I do love the plaque cookie and the flowers and what a great color on the rattle.

  2. Great idea they turned out really good.I will have to remember this I don’t own Winnie cutters. TFS

  3. Do you ship these? They are adorable and I’d love them for an upcoming baby shower!!!

      • I didn’t make the tree the hostess did, I just made the cookies. I know she crumpled up brown paper in the shape of a tree trunk. It was on a roll like school bulletin board paper. Hope that helps!
