I have a dear friend who son is in the Air Force. He is leaving for Afghanistan and I made the cookies for his send off party. I am so proud of our military and appreciate all they sacrifice for our freedom.

My friend Maureen ordered some cookies to send to her son and his friend who are serving in the Marines in Okinawa. These were a new design for me, I have never made them before but I am always up for a challenge! I really had fun making them and am so proud of all our men and women serving our country. I appreciate the great sacrifices they make for us each day.
