Today is the Summer Solstice, the longest daylight period of the year and the official first day of Summer….If you live in Southern California like I do then you’ll know we have been enjoying summer wear for a while now.
I happen to love summer…. I wish it was warm all year long so I could wear shorts and flip flops every day. I also happen to love summer cookies and here are a few I have made recently….
Enjoy and Happy Summer!
I loved the soft colors of mint and seafoam green and white for this baby shower theme.
I had fun making these cute nautical cookies to match a nautical baby shower to welcome baby Jacob. The little sailor suit reminds me of one my own son wore as a baby 23 years ago!
This is the last order that I used the anchor shaped cookie cutter. Three different orders with anchors and lots of breakage. Way too fragile of a shape for packaging, transporting… Of all of the hundreds of cookie cutters I have used, this one shape caused me too much grief to use again.
I was really honored to be asked to make such fun cookies for a longtime family friends baby’s 1st Birthday. The nautical theme and colors of red, light blue, and navy really came out cute. I used her decorations and invitation for inspiration and was happy she gave me creative freedom for the shapes and designs. I love how she displayed the cookie favors in a boat, so cute!Thank you Britney!
My friend Jen asked me to make these for her sisters new baby. They are having a welcome shower in his honor. I used the invitation for inspiration for the cookies, the French macarons, and the fun packaging. I love matching ribbons and tags to the cookies. Presentation is everything!
